Welcome to my side project.
This is where I collect ideas of personal interest and write (and rewrite, and re-rewrite) them into what I hope are relatable and useful stories.
It has “.tokyo” in the domain because that is where it started. The huge context change I experienced when my family moved to Japan brought so many new things, so quickly. I needed a way to record and make sense of them.
So I decided to process items that caught my attention by writing short posts about them. This method (post processing) helps me to slow down and give more focus to things that matter to me. To think about and enjoy them.
I moved back to New York five years ago. But the posting hasn’t stopped.
It’s an eclectic collection and my intended audience is myself, but I hope you enjoy some of it too.
