Yu Nagaba

I'm a fan of Yu Nagaba's work.

His black and white line drawings simplify things down to their outlinear essence. 

I first encountered Nagaba at an exhibition of screen prints at my local bookstore in Tokyo, which was promoting his book of scenes from famous Hollywood movies. 

After the book, which is called Shot/Reverse Shot, I have seen Nagaba’s work in many other places - magazines, advertisements, brand collaborations.

And his latest collaboration with The Louvre x Uniqlo that Nagaba-izes famous works from the museum’s collection onto cotton t-shirts.
