Booklet Library
I am taking a night class on making hand-crafted books at Princeton Adult School.
The first lesson was about one-sheet publications.
These are small-format, multi-page publications that require only a single piece of paper, folding and cutting. There is no binding. No adhesive. No stitching. Just paper and artistry.
While looking for online inspiration for one of the class projects, I found a digital library of booklets.
Aptly named, the Booklet Library is a kind-of wikipedia for independent, low-page print publications. (Although I found it while studying one-sheet books, there are a number of formats represented here.)
The BL appears to be driven by reader and maker submissions, but the structure is clear and easy-to-navigate. Some of the listings are a little lo-qual, but others make you want to keep looking.
Take a looklet?
