Someone said that Manuel Lima is "the Edward Tufte of the 21st Century".
Whoever that was, I agree with them!
Lima has written/designed several seminal books on information visualization.
This one, Visual Complexity, has been sitting on my desk for two weeks or so. Each day I make a little time to study it - at lunchtime or when no one is looking.
It is a resource for anyone interested in the visualization of complex networks or systems, which here are pretty defined broadly as things that are connected or linked.
Complexity is a curious thing. And people attempting to describe it visually are interesting too.
