Instagram the Superstore?
Shopify has has a new approach that makes reaching mobile shoppers easier by making any Instagram post shoppable.
The tech enables a seamless in-app shopping experience from discovery to checkout.
However there are some requirements to enable it, including ... you need to have an approved Facebook Shop, you need to use the Online Store channel, you need a Business Profile on Instagram, and you need a Shopify account.
Once you add Instagram to your Shopify sales channels, you can start to tag products in your Instagram posts.
Products sold on Instagram must follow Facebook commerce policies (no alcohol, no tobacco, nothing illegal, etc).
